Citi FM will cover up to 300 English Premier League games in the 2024-2025 season via radio commentary according to Managing Director Samuel Attah-Mensah.
He stated this during an interview on Citi FM’s Breakfast Show for the official launch of the company’s coverage of the league that is popularly referred to as the Greatest Football League in the World.
Speaking in the presence of Citi FM’s Head of Sports, Benjamin Nketsia, Samuel Attah-Mensah added that aside covering up to six league games per week, games in the English Football League (Carabao) Cup and Emirates FA Cup this season will be covered in partnership with UK-based Talk Sports.
“From August this weekend, all the way to May of next year, we are bringing you up to 300 games games, live games on Citi FM and it’s our invitation for you to be part of this experience. Apart from the live games that you are going to hear, Ben talked about the community engagement through our Premier League Road Shows where we pick specific pubs and venues, community centres, we gather, listen to the Premiership commentary together, network, have fun.”

The radio commentary coverage of the 2024-2025 EPL season commences on Friday, August 16 at 19:00 GMT as Manchester United take on Fulham.
