Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo anticipates a challenging match against the Menas of Niger, despite the perception of Niger being the weakest team in the qualifying group.

Niger recently lost narrowly to Sudan and will be eager to secure three points against the Black Stars, who are also coming off a defeat to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

This will mark the 14th encounter between the two teams when they face off at the Stade Municipal de Berkane, with their last meeting in 2013 when the Black Stars triumphed over Niger in the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Ahead of the game, Coach Otto Addo emphasized that his team must perform flawlessly to secure all three points.

We observed them.

We watched a lot of games that they played and they looked strong.

They have good players in their team and they played together as a team.

Like I said, they had some losses but it was always very close and they also had their chances.

So we have to be aware of that.

They have good strikers. They defend very well.

Tactically they are well educated so it’s not going to be easy but I’m sure if we do our best, if we can create as much chances as in the last game against Angola, we will force the luck to come back to us.
