A section of individuals who witnessed Ghana’s game against Angola resorted to acts of violence after Ghana’s 1-0 loss to the Central African nation.

The game was a 2025 AFCON qualifier that was played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the loss ended Ghana’s 24 year unbeaten streak at the stadium.

Fans who gathered at the stadium, were frustrated throughout as the Black Stars struggled to carve out decent scoring opportunities on the very bad pitch.

Felicio Milson scored in added on time to put the game to bed and secure Angola’s first win in as many games in Group F that also has Sudan and Niger competing in. Sudan beat Niger 1-0 when they faced off.

Immediately after Milson’s goal, some fans were seen throwing plastic bottles on to the pitch in an expression of frustration seemingly over the Black Stars performance and result.

Once the game ended, some fans breached the inner perimeter and descended on the pitch where wooden pitch panels were trampled over and some broken.

In the lead up to the game, fans broke through a gate at the T.I. Ahmadiyya end of the stadium to gain access into the stadium.

Terrible citizens.😡😡😡😡

The crowd behind the TI AMASS end of the stadium just broke down the gate and overpowered the security to enter the stadium.#GhanaAngola #security
