Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol believes that Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus will show his quality more this season.
He indicated this in an interview where the Croatia defender spoke extensively about competing in the English Premier League after playing out his debut season in the league last season.
In the interview, Gvardiol picked Kudus as the player he struggled the most playing against last season and highlighted the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder’s brilliant bicycle kick goal against Man City on the final day of competition in the 2023-2024 season. After watching Kudus excel in his debut season in the EPL, Gvardiol believes the Black Stars player will “show his quality” this season.
“I think he’s the one who deserves more attention, you know? I believe this season, he’s going to come out and show his quality.”

Man City have since beaten West Ham United 3-1 in the 2024-2025 season at the London Stadium with Erling Haaland bagging a hat-trick.
