Legon Cities is the last club Gyan played for in his illustrious career before retiring; Ghana’s all time goal scorer played for the likes of Sunderland, Udinese, Stade Rennes and Shanghai SIPG.
On the outlook for the 2024-2025 season, Dwomoh Agyeman pointed to the club’s fine collection of talents and Paa Kwesi Fabin’s fine track record of developing talents as reason to believe the team will excel.
Fabin is a former Ghana Under 17 head coach and serves as the head coach of Ghana’s Under 23 side.
“We also believe that we have a very good coach who is great at getting the best out of very young talents and also motivating the older talents to perform for the team. We believe that the combination of this would translate into performances on the pitch.”
After losing 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars in Bibiani, Legon Cities take on Medeama on Saturday, September 15 at 15:00 GMT at the Legon Stadium.
