Black Stars veteran forward Jordan Ayew has been dropped from the starting lineup for the Black Stars crucial game against Sudan.

The 2025 AFCON qualifier kicks off at 13:00 GMT at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benghazi, Libya with “home side” Sudan’s security situation preventing the nation from hosting the crucial tie.

Jordan Ayew started against Sudan in a goalless draw in Accra and lasted 69 minutes before getting replaced by Inaki Williams.

Against Sudan in Accra, Jordan Ayew started in the three man frontline alongside Antoine Semenyo and Ernest Nuamah.

However, for Tuesday, October 14’s game, the Leicester City forward will start from the bench as Inaki Williams leads Ghana’s attack with Semenyo and Nuamah.
