Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman scored his latest goal in the 2024-2025 season to get a late equalizer for Greek side PAOK in the UEFA Europa League.
PAOK drew 2-2 with Viktoria Plzen in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League after coming back from a 2-0 deficit in the first half.
Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen scored in the 31st and 39th minute with fellow Ghanaian player Prince Kwabena Adu assisting both goals.
The 21 year old forward’s assist brace comes on the back of scoring twice in Plzen’s 3-1 win over Banik Ostrava in the Czech League. Kwabena Adu played for Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.
However, Plzen’s lead was wiped out with PAOK getting goals in the 84th and 93rd minute respectively as PAOK took advantage of Sampson Dweh’s dismissal in the 70th minute.

Baba Rahman’s late equalizer was scored when the veteran full back curled in his effort with his weaker right foot into the right side of the goal.
Rahman though expressed his disappointment over PAOK missing out on a win at home stating on his X (formerly Twitter) page stating,
“Disappointed we couldn’t get the win but we will keep fighting for this club, you better be the best fans in the world.”
#PAOK #EuropaLeague 🖤🤍 pic.twitter.com/aVEmu3dtfg
