Eight players took part in Ghana’s first training session in preparation for Friday’s AFCON qualifier against Angola in Luanda.

The session, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, was led by Head Coach Otto Addo.
The squad included three locally-based players: Razak Simpson (Nations FC), Isaac Afful (Samartex), and Emmanuel Antwi (Asante Kotoko).

They were joined by five foreign-based players: Gideon Mensah, Kudus Mohammed, Elisha Owusu, Joseph Wollacott, and Osman Bukari.
An increased turnout is expected for Tuesday’s training, as more players are set to arrive on Monday night.
Ghana will face Angola in Luanda on Friday, before wrapping up the qualification campaign at home against Niger the following Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18.
