Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will announce his squad today, November 7, 2024, for the final two matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

In a must-win scenario, the Black Stars need victories in both games to keep their slim qualification hopes alive.

Ghana’s last two Group F matchups are scheduled against Angola on November 15 and Niger on November 18.

Ghana’s qualifying campaign has been underwhelming. The team has accumulated just two points from four matches—two draws and two losses.

With only these two fixtures left, Ghana’s chances of making it to the tournament in Morocco are on the line.

To qualify, they must win both games while hoping Sudan loses both of its remaining matches.

Coach Addo is expected to reveal a 25-man squad on Thursday, November 7.

While the lineup will likely feature key regulars, there is speculation that a few top-performing local players may be called up to bring fresh energy and depth to the team.

With both games critical to the Black Stars’ AFCON ambitions, Otto Addo’s squad selection and the team’s performance in these matches will be closely watched.
