Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil starred in Los Angeles Galaxy’s huge win over Minnesota United in the Major League Soccer (MLS) playoffs.
Paintsil scored a brace in the Galaxy’s 6-2 win to progress in the playoff series; Galaxy teammates Gabriel Pec and Dejan Joveljic also scored twice each to set a league record.
The Black Stars player scored in the 37th and 86th minute respectively in the game that had Ghanaian-Italian Kelvin Yeboah also score a brace; Yeboah is the nephew of football legend Tony Yeboah.
“Things have changed because of the way we press. As you can see today, when everybody loses the ball, he wants to press because we were eager and really hungry to win this game even though we had a long break but it really didn’t affect us, we were really focused…and it was really amazing that we came out with this great scoreline.”

Galaxy take on Minnesota United in game one of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday, December 1 at 3:00 AM. Scroll down to watch Joseph Paintsil goal.
