Rayo Vallecano Inigo Perez has stated the Ghana defender Abdul Mumin is having a sensation campaign and playing at a high level thus far in the 2024-2025 season.
He said this in his post-game conference after Rayo’s hard fought 3-3 draw with Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.
Mumin scored in the draw for his second goal in 15 appearances in La Liga and has an assist this season; this represents his best start to a season in terms of goal contribution and Inigo Perez agreed to this assertion by praising Mumin and his central defensive partner Florian Lejeune stating,
“They are two guys who are having a sensational season. They complement each other very well…both of them, I think they are at a very high level and they must continue. They are the two players who mark the line where we have the line as high as possible and it gives us a lot of peace of mind with the ball to be able to start the plays.”
