Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has highlighted the distinction between the strikers he has worked with in his tenure as Kotoko head coach.

Dr. Ogum is in his second run with Kotoko as head coach and watched his side bag its fourth win over its biggest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak via a 1-0 win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Albert Amoah scored the game’s winner in the 95th minute by capitalizing on a defensive blunder by Hearts of Oak.

After seeing Cameroon international Franck Mbella Etouga and Uganda international Steven Mukwala star for Kotoko in the derby against Hearts, Dr. Ogum spoke on how Amoah was different from the others.

“I think all these players are good quality players. If you look at Albert, he plays with the team, he defends… and then when we have the ball too he goes on the attack so that makes him different from the other two but then Mbella, Mukwala, Albert they are all super.”
