Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo is in line to return to action after serving a one game suspension on Thursday, December 5 at 20:15 GMT.
Semenyo’s AFC Bournemouth take on Tottenham Hotspurs at 20:15 GMT at the Vitality Stadium after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-2 in the immediate past round of English Premier League games.
The 24 year old didn’t feature in the win after picking up his fifth yellow card 11 games into the season in Bournemouth’s 1-2 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion.
In the lead up to the game, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola acknowledged Semeyo’s impending return stating,
“It’s going to be very similar to the squad that we had (at Wolves). Obviously, we recover Antoine from the suspension.”
Semenyo has had a fine start to the 2024-2025 season scoring four goals in 11 games despite the English born player’s struggles with Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars.
Former Bristol player Semenyo was part of the Black Stars squad that failed to qualify to the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
