Ghana Olympic Committee congratulates President-Elect John Dramani Mahama

The Ghana Olympic Committee [GOC] has extended heartfelt congratulations to H.E. John Dramani Mahama on his re-election as president of the Republic of Ghana.

In a formal letter signed by GOC president Ben Nunoo Mensah, the committee expressed its admiration for John Mahama’s resilience, leadership, and the trust placed in him by the Ghanaian populace.

The GOC highlighted Mr. Mahama’s longstanding commitment to youth empowerment, sports development, and creating an enabling environment for sports investment.

It emphasized the limitless opportunities his administration is poised to bring to the sports industry, promising to collaborate in advancing youth and sports agendas.

Ben Nunoo Mensah also urged the President-elect to prioritize youth and sports development as a cornerstone of the national agenda, noting the potential for Ghana to shine on the African and global stages through its athletes.

The GOC pledged unwavering support to Mr. Mahama’s administration and reaffirmed its optimism in his leadership to elevate Ghana sports to new heights.

The letter concluded with best wishes for Mr. Mahama, invoking blessings for his tenure as President.
