Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has stated that it is a privilege to coach one of Ghana’s biggest football clubs.
He said this in an interview with Max TV ahead of Hearts of Oak’s big clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, December 15 at 15:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The teams head into the tie in contrasting form with Kotoko picking just a win in five games while Hearts are unbeaten in five games and have picked four wins in the process.
“I think I have this privilege, I’m coaching one of the two teams. Look it’s a privilege for me…but the motivation is my three points or get a point to bring back home and my boys also are very motivated, determined. Kotoko-Hearts of Oak…because of the fans, because of the name, because of the history of the two teams, is big and we are going to deliver.”
Hearts rank sixth while Kotoko rank seventh in the league.
