Vision Football Club head coach Nana Agyemang has shed light on his confrontation with a fan during the his team’s Ghana Premier League game against Medeama SC.
In his post-game presser after seeing Vision beat Medeama 3-2 in a surprising result, Nana Agyemang spoke passionately about the incident.
He stated that he reacted to the fan’s provocations to protect his players whose confidence were being affected by the individual’s actions.
“I’m very laid back, usually I don’t talk to fans and I don’t have a problem with fans actually showing their outburst and saying whatever they want to say but there is this one particular fan. Seriously I don’t think he’s even a supporter or sympathizer of the team.”

“Even when we were 2-0 up, all he kept doing was insulting the players, breaking their confidence and then he turned it up on me and he does this every week. Whether we are playing well or we are not playing well, I think his job is just to distract the confidence of the team.”

Beating Medeama was Vision’s third win 13 games into its debut season in the Ghanaian top flight.
