Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus has been named in the 2024 CAF Men’s Best XI following his brilliant 2023-2024 season with West Ham United and the Black Stars.
Kudus was honoured with the placement at the 2024 CAF Awards held in Morocco; he is the only Ghanaian player to be named in the team.
This year’s CAF Men’s Best XI had the likes of Mohammed Salah from Egypt, Andre Onana from Cameroon, Victor Osimhen and 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year winner Ademola Lookman of Nigeria named.
The 24 year old Kudus starred at the London club after joining from Ajax Amsterdam and his fine form ended in a second place finish in West Ham’s Player of the Year Awards.
Kudus bagged 18 goals and seven assists in 48 games in all competitions for The Hammers and is in line to win the FIFA Puskas Award for his outstanding goal against Freiburg in the Europa League.
With the Black Stars, Kudus scored two goals in two games in his debut AFCON campaign and was named as the Man of the Match in both games he featured at the 2023 AFCON held in Cote D’Ivoire.
