Black Stars forward Inaki Williams has reacted to his goal scoring performance against Fenerbache in the UEFA Europa League.

Williams scored twice as Athletic Bilbao beat the Turkish side in Turkey to stay unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions. Williams improved his goal tally to four in six games.

The 30 year old’s first was simple tap-in finish in the fifth minute after teammate Gorka Guruzeta capitalized on a mistake by Fenerbache defender Mert Muldur and rolled the ball across for Williams to apply a simple finish.

Williams’ second on the other hand, was anything but simple as he raced down the right side before powering a fierce strike from an acute angle that zoomed past Fenerbache goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic in the 45th minute.

“Happy Guru (zeta) left it on a plate for me with the first goal I just had to pass it. Maybe of all the goals I scored, it was the easiest of my career and well the second one was a little more complex.”

“I was lucky that I hit it well and it went in. It’s not the first time I’ve scored a goal like that so I’m happy to continue contributing to the team” Williams said of his goals.
