Swedru All Blacks forward Rudolf Mensah has affirmed his commitment to the national course by declaring his readiness to play for Ghana whenever he is called on to do so.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after All Blacks drew 1-1 with the Black Galaxies ahead of the Ghana based national men’s football team’s 2025 CHAN qualifier against Nigeria later this month.

In his first season with All Blacks, Mensah leads the Access Bank Division One League with seven goals in eight games but says he is focused on excelling with All Blacks though he is ready to play for Ghana. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“It was a privilege playing against the country; couldn’t grab a goal but the effort and team play was very superb and fantastic. It was a very good game, it was a great game and I think it was an opportunity that propelled me to even dream more of playing in the national team.”

“If they (the national handlers) give me a call up, I think I’m willing and ever ready to show my dedication to the national flag.”
