Leicester City manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy has described Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey’s goal as a brilliant one.
In his post-game reaction after Leicester played out a 2-2 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League, the Leicester boss talked through the first of two goals his team conceded with Lamptey bagging the finish.
“I can’t blame the team on the two goals [conceded]. The first one was top corner and you have to compliment Lamptey for a brilliant goal” Van Nistelrooy said.
Black Stars player, Tariq Lamptey, received a pass on the right side from Pervis Estupinian, shifted the ball on to his left foot before curling the ball into the corner of the net with his weaker foot.
The goal is Lamptey’s second in his last five games where he also has registered two assists along the way. He has played seven games in all competitions in the 2024-2025 season.
Brighton next take on Crystal Palace in the league on Sunday, December 15. Scroll down to watch Tariq Lamptey’s goal.
