A Vice Chairman Aspirant in the 2025 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Elections, Nana Amankwah Kwakye, has stated his motive to run for the position.
He made this known in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the GHALCA Elections that is set to take place on Thursday, January 23 at the association’s secretariat.
Aside speaking on the positive impact of the elections postponement from January 21 to January 23 on his campaign, the King Faisal Sporting Director added that he is seeking to turn around the flagging fortunes of the association. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“When GHALCA is strong, our football becomes stronger…so I am contesting to complement the efforts of the Chairman, come out with ideas, advise so that we reinvent the fortunes of GHALCA for it to be strong. That is the only thing I will say (is motivating me to contest for the position).”

Outgoing Chairman of GHALCA, Kudjoe Fianoo, is set to be replaced by either Isaac Koomson of Aduana Stars or John K Ansah of Ebusua Dwarfs who are vying for the Chairman position.
