Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has described AFC Bournemouth’s 4-1 win over Newcastle United as one derived from a “crazy performance”.
He said this in an interview with the BBC after Bournemouth bagged a 4-1 win over Newcastle at the St. James’ Park.
Semenyo played a crucial role in the big win that extended Bournemouth’s unbeaten streak in the English Premier League to 10 games.
The Black Stars player assisted the first goal for hat-trick hero Justin Kluivert to put Bournemouth up 1-0 in the sixth minute.
“It was a crazy performance from us. We just knew we needed to get the press right and if we did we’d get opportunities and as you saw from a couple of the goals we got the press right and got the three points.”

“We wanted to catch out the back four as soon as the goalkeeper passed to the centre back that was our trigger to go and it worked out perfectly” he said and praised Justin Kluivert for his brilliant output stating

“Justin [Kluivert]’s finishes were special. He’s a top player for us. It was a well-deserved hat-trick.”
