Accra Hearts of Oak’s Saani Mohammed joins AC Horsens in Denmark

In an official statement on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) page on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Accra Hearts of Oak announced the transfer of Saani Mohammed to Danish side AC Horsens.

Mohammed who joined the club in August from Soccer4Souls, will be with the club for two and half years with the transfer fee reportedly worth 250,000 Euros.

Saani Mohammed starred in The Phobians run in the first half of the 2024-2025 season by registering two assists in 13 Ghana Premier League games.

At the time of his transfer, Hearts of Oak are preparing to take on reigning league champions FC Samartex on Sunday, January 19 in Samreboi close to the end of the first round of the campaig. Hearts rank fifth in the league.

The 18 year old left footed midfielder joins Horsens that is ranked fourth in the 12th league Danish first division standings with 31 points. Horsens have nine wins, four draws and five losses.
