Sports and Recreation Minister-Designate, Kofi Iddie Adams, has stated boldly that he will deliver in his role once confirmed.
He said this when he made an appearance at the Parliamentary Vetting Committee after getting nominated for the role by President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama.
After downplaying the notion that he isn’t well known among the sports circles, Kofi Adams made a bold claim that he will deliver should he be named officially as the Sports and Recreation Minister.
“It is the case that some say so (about me not being well known for sports) but majority are also very happy that I have been nominated. I will not disappoint Ghanaians and I will not disappoint His Excellency the President (John Mahama). I will deliver and won’t also disappoint myself.”

Kofi Adams comes in as Sports Minister at a time where sports is reeling in Ghana following back to back group stage exits at the AFCON with Ghana failing to qualify to the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
He has however stated that he won’t be Black Stars Sports Minister.
