Currently at the bottom of table, Legon Cities FC want to sign new players and one place they want to beef up is the forward position.
Speaking to the media in a post-match interview, Adinan Saeed, the assistant coach for Legon Cities FC, hinted at the club’s intentions to strengthen their squad during the ongoing transfer window.
Saeed, who works under newly appointed head coach Yaw Acheampong, acknowledged the need for reinforcements to enhance the team’s competitiveness in the league. While he stopped short of providing specific details, his remarks suggest that the Royals are actively exploring opportunities to bolster their roster.
“going into the transfer window, you look at the position you lack and that is where beef up. And looking up and observing in our team, we are lacking a clinical finisher upfront so we have targeted one of two players that i cant put their names here on air but we hope we are able to get their signatures that can help and support the ones we have for the second half of the season” Saeed noted.
The comments come after Legon Cities’ narrow 1-0 loss to Hearts of Oak, a result that highlighted the team’s need for additional depth and tactical options.
