Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Opoku, has called for an inquest into poor spectatorship at the club’s home games.
He said this in his post-game presser after Kotoko beat Vision FC 4-1 in the Ghana Premier League to extend its unbeaten run to six with the streak including five wins.
The Porcupine Warriors have also secured wins in the MTN FA Cup to progress to the Round of 16 stage but in spite of the brilliant run, Kotoko have struggled to draw fans to its games and Dr. Ogum has called for an inquest to address the issue.
“We expect them to come especially when we have been winning games consecutively. What we have to do is to make sure that we intensify our publicity so that we attract them to come.”

“We need to sit down and look at what we need to do to make sure that we pull them to the stadium. Today (against Vision FC) the number wasn’t encouraging at all.”
