Southampton Football Club manager Ivan Juric has praised Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana for his improved performance since Juric replaced Russell Martin as the lead technician for The Saints.
Juric expressed how happy he was with Sulemana’s uptick in performance in a post-game interview after Southampton lost 3-1 to AFC Bournemouth.
Southampton’s latest loss in the 2024-2025 season had Black Stars players Sulemana score while Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo assisted Marcus Tavernier’s goal.
The goal for Sulemana is the former Stade Rennes player’s first English Premier League goal of the season with his other goal coming in a win over Swansea in the FA Cup.
Sulemana received a short pass from strike partner Paul Onuachu and took a touch before blasting the ball into the bottom left side of the goal and his output impressed Juric who stated that

“He’s a great guy, great quality. I think he can do really well. Today he scored a great goal, he was dangerous all the match and I’m very happy with him.”

By beating Southampton, Bournemouth have moved to fifth place in the standings in what has been a brilliant campaign for The Cherries.
