Public Relations Officer of Ghana Cycling, Dennis Moore, is hoping that Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, honours his promise to be a Minister for all sports.
The recently sworn in Sports Minister has stated that he won’t focus solely on football and specifically Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team-the Black Stars- in his time at the Ministry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, veteran sports journalist Dennis Moore, expressed his hope the new Sports Minister honours his word.
“People attain the power and they forget (about the promises they made). It’s my prayer that Kofi Adams will live up to his words…that he is really going to be for all the least financed sports; that will be my joy to see Ghana at all the games” Moore said.

Aside football, Ghana has struggled with chronic financial issues for sports disciplines including athletics, boxing and tennis.

Earlier in the interview, Moore stated that he cried when former Ghana Athletics Chairman Professor Francis Dodoo wasn’t named as Sports Minister. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
