Barcelona took an enormous step towards the final four of the Champions League as they ran out rampant 4-0 victors during the first leg of their quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund.

Barcelona took no time in asserting their dominance and Dortmund were fortunate to be just one goal behind at half-time such was the home side’s superiority. Raphinha extended his competition-high Champions League tally, scoring his 12th European effort of the season as he tapped home Pau Cubarsi’s flick on the goal line.
The evening improved for Barcelona shortly after the break as Robert Lewandowski scored twice against his former side, heading home from three yards before powering an excellent low drive past the hand of Gregor Kobel

Lamine Yamal added a fourth in the 77th minute as he expertly converted a devastating counter-attack to all but guarantee Barcelona progression to the semi-finals and condemn Dortmund to a miserable defeat.
