Ghana international footballer and Los Angeles Galaxy Football Club winger Joseph Paintsil, has announced that the release of his debut EP, “Emergency“, will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025.
The seven track EP is a testament to Paintsil’s passion for music, which he nurtures in his leisure time. The former KRC Genk star’s love for music is well documented and he’s excited to share this creative piece with the world.
“I’m happy to share my music with the world. Football will always be my first love, but I also love music and I do it at my leisure time. I worked on this EP while I was out injured and sometimes boredom could set in after training. I hope everyone enjoys it” Paintsil said.
“Emergency” features multiple time Ghana Music Award nominee Kweku Flick and is a reflection of Paintsil’s energetic and passionate personality.
27 year old Paintsil won the MLS Cup with the Galaxy last season and played 46 minutes in the Galaxy’s goalless draw against Mexico’s Tigres UNAL in the CONCACAF Champions Cup on April 2 as he works his way back from a quad injury that ruled him out for six weeks.
