Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has described AFC Bournemouth’s latest draw in the 2024-2025 English Premier League season as frustrating.

Bournemouth drew 1-1 at its Vitality Stadium with Manchester United to rank 10th in the league at the time of writing.

Semenyo scored the game’s opening goal in the 23rd minute with Evanilson assisting the goal before the latter got sent off in the 70th minute.

Man United took advantage of the dismissal and piled on the pressure on Bournemouth before Rasmus Hojlund equalized in the 96th minute to the disappointment of Semenyo.

“It’s frustrating. We dominated most of the game. We went down to 10 men but I felt we were still quite comfortable. We defended so well. The goal we conceded is so frustrating. It feels [like] a loss, to be honest” Semenyo said to Sky Sports and added that

“I feel like there wasn’t much more we could do. All we could do was defend as a group and hope not to concede. We’re just unfortunate to concede with the last shot they had.
