Aspiring 2025 Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Elections Assistant Treasurer Candidate, Aurora Commodore-Toppar, has stated that she will relinquish her position at the Ghana Basketball Federation should she emerge successful in the GOC elections.

This year’s GOC Elections are scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 26 and the Treasurer at the Basketball Federation is sure that should she be successful in the upcoming elections, she will step down from her role in the basketball space.

“I don’t think it will be in the best interest of myself or the Federation (Ghana Basketball) or GOC to be running two offices so should I get the nod as the Assistant Treasurer of the GOC, I will definitely relinquish my position as the Treasurer of the Federation (Basketball) while I will definitely mentor another female to take over from me at the Basketball Federation” she said.
