UG Corporate Football League: Week 9 Fixtures Set the Stage Before Two-Week Break

As the UG Corporate Football League marches into Week 9 this Saturday, April 12, 2025, anticipation is sky-high with four intense matches on the schedule. With the teams putting it all on the line before a two-week break, the weekend promises intense action, dramatic moments, and possibly, season-defining outcomes.

Here’s what’s coming your way this Saturday 12th April: Ghana Football Association vs College of Health Sciences, Telecel Ghana vs College of Basic and Applied Sciences, Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club vs College of Education and finally College of Humanities vs Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC)

This isn’t just another match day, it’s the last chance for teams to make statements before a crucial two-week break.

Ghana Football Association, known for its technical play, faces off with a College of Health Sciences side that has quietly become one of Group A’s underdogs to watch. Expect a tactical midfield battle in that one.

Telecel Ghana, currently struggling at the bottom of Group A, will be hoping to salvage pride and points against College of Basic and Applied Sciences, who are still in the race for the top 4. A win here could be the turnaround Telecel desperately needs.

Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club, sitting just behind Union Ghana, have everything to play for against College of Education. A win could tighten the gap at the top, especially with Union Ghana idle this weekend.

Finally, College of Humanities locks horns with GNPC in what many are calling the “clash of the mid-table titans.” Both teams need points to push closer to the top spot, expect no mercy and plenty of fireworks.

After this weekend, the league will take a scheduled two-week break, giving teams the chance to rest, regroup, and recover from the intense match ups so far. For coaches, it’s time to revise strategies. For players, it’s a chance to heal. And for fans? It’s the perfect moment to reflect on the incredible journey the league has been so far.
