Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Communications Director, Samuel Sarfo Duku, has slammed the performance of referee Robert Musey.
Robert Musey was the main referee in Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League game against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani.
The game featuring the second ranked Gold Stars against the hitherto fourth ranked Kotoko ended goalless with several Kotoko fans registering their anger over the state of officiating for the game and Sarfo Duku’s post-game statement reflected such sentiments.
“I was disappointed [with] the way our boys were frustrated and were denied the three points. Clearly we were on top of the game, we dominated, we created all the necessary chances. However, all our dangerous moves were cut short by the strange decisions by the match officials and I’m so disappointed [with most] of the decisions of the referees” he said.

Kotoko trail lead league leaders Nations FC by five points after the draw with Gold Stars despite moving up to third place. Kotoko take on Medeama and Vision FC on June 1 and 8 respectively to see out the league season.
