Nations Football Club Brands Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has pointed out the reasons behind the club’s rapid rise to the summit of the Ghana Premier League.

The Kumasi based club leads the 18 team league standings with 54 points with four games left to play in the 2024-2025 Ghana League campaign.

Nations FC has six wins in its last seven games including a 1-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak and a 2-0 win over city rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The win over Kotoko led to the dismissal of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as Kotoko head coach and in an exclusive chat with Citi Sports, the Nations FC Brands Manager says the team’s success isn’t down to any special reason.

“If you ask me, there’s no special reason. It’s just hard work, careful planning, and then the God factor. It’s careful planning and then putting the right strategies in place and ensuring that whatever we set out to do, we’re able to execute it one match at a time.”
