Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, isn’t giving up hope to win the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League title.
The recently appointed head coach added in a pre-game interview that until the season comes to a close, there is hope for Kotoko to win the league title.
He said this in the lead up to Kotoko’s high profile clash against bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, May 4 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 15:00 GMT.
Kotoko rank fourth in the league with 50 points and sit just three points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars ahead of the clash against the sixth ranked Hearts of Oak.
“We are going to fight for it-the league title- and until the league ends, I will never lose hope. We are still on them-the players- we are playing, we should be winning and going [closer to winning the title]” Zito said.

Kotoko beat Aduana Stars 1-0 in Zito’s debut game as Kotoko head coach after replacing Dr. Prosper Ogum. The win ended a four game skid from the Porcupine Warriors.
