Ibrahim Sulemana has had a huge growth; deserved to score against Roma- Marten De Roon

Atalanta midfielder Marten De Roon has commended Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana for the level of growth he has had in recent months.

He said this in a post-game interview after Sulemana scored the winning goal in Atalanta’s 2-1 win over AS Roma to officially qualify Atalanta to next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Sulemana pounced on a loose ball in front of the penalty box to slam the ball into the bottom right side of the net in the 76^th minute.

Playing just eight games in all competitions this season, Atalanta head coach Gianpiero Gasperini explained the reason behind Sulemana’s limited appearances and midfielder De Roon chimed in and praised Sulemana’s growth stating, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
