Swedru All Blacks Football Club striker Rudolf Mensah, has stated that the club was destined to qualify to the Ghana Premier League this season after several years.

All Blacks made its return to the Ghanaian top flight after a 16 year hiatus thanks to a 3-0 win over New Edubiase in the Access Bank Division One Zone Two.

Speaking after the game, Mensah, who had a brilliant debut campaign with the Swedru outfit after scoring 24 goals in 25 games, was adamant that the club’s promotion was something destined.

“It’s great to be part of history, to be able to lead Swedru All Blacks after 16 years, back into the Ghana Premier League. We are highly elated, we are feeling good. We knew that we were destined for the Premier League…the feeling is great, the euphoria around here is quite massive so we thank God for that” Rudolf Mensah said.
