Coventry City FC manager Frank Lampard has praised Ghana Black Stars forward Brandon Thomas-Asante for having a massive impact in the club’s win over Middlesbrough.

Lampard’s team beat Middlesbrough 2-0 to secure its place in the playoff race to book a qualification spot to the English Premier League next season.

Leeds and Burnley have secured promotion from the EFL Championship to the top flight division and four team including Salis Samed’s AFC Sunderland will battle for the last qualification spot.

Thomas-Asante played 18 minutes off the bench and registered an assist in the win and Frank Lampard was pleased with his output stating,

“Shout out to Brandon who came on showed physicality, speed and desire. He’s been injured, came back, trained well and has been telling me he’s ready and he showed me he was ready today and he had a massive impact on the game.”
