Vision Football Club’s Communications Director, Prince Tagoe, has described the team’s debut season in the Ghana Premier League as a valuable learning experience.

With only three matches remaining, the club is focused on securing its position and avoiding relegation after a challenging campaign marked by inconsistent results.

One of the club’s primary goals this season was to finish in the top four while nurturing young talent in the Ghana Premier League.

“It’s been very challenging this season in the Ghana Premier League, and we have learnt a lot this campaign” – Vision FC PRO

Although the top-four target remains elusive, the club has successfully showcased several promising young players who have made headlines throughout the season.

After 31 matchweeks, Vision FC sits 12th on the league table with 39 points, having secured 9 wins, 12 draws, and 11 losses under the leadership of Head Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang.

Reflecting on the campaign, Prince Tagoe emphasised the numerous positives that provide a strong foundation for the club to build upon in the upcoming season.

I think it’s been very challenging.

We’ve learnt a lot of things since the start of the season, the start of the campaign.

There’s been venues that we’ve been to, that we’ve learnt how, I mean, it is to play at those venues, talk of break home, talk of when she talks of summer takes and just to mention a few.

But, I mean, as I said, we’ve learnt a lot from those various venues and so if, by God’s grace and by the intent of hard work, we are able to beat Kerala and then stay in the league, we’re going to definitely do things differently or approach games differently come next season.

Vision FC lock horns with fellow strugglers Karela United in a must-win encounter for both sides on Sunday at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
