Samuel Sarfo Duku, the Communications Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, has declared that capturing the league title will be very difficult.

He made this confession after Kotoko drew goalless against Bibiani Gold Stars at Dun’s Park in Bibiani over the weekend to trail league leaders Nations FC by five points.

Kotoko take on Medeama SC and Vision FC to see out the 2024-2025 league campaign and Sarfo Duku’s believes that winning the title is possible but has grown into a very difficult task after Kotoko missed out on picking out three points in Bibiani.

“It’s-title ambition-still on because technically, it’s possible but it’s now a very difficult task for us. I have to admit, it has become very very difficult for us. Looking at how they-Nations FC- are playing, it will be very difficult for them to lose but is what I am hoping” Duku said.

Kotoko played the game against Gold Stars without striker Kwame Opoku who honoured an invitation to the Black Stars for the Unity Cup and Kotoko head coach Karim Zito highlighted the impact of his absence in his post-game presser. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
