Accra Hearts of Oak have revealed that Ivorian Gaffer Aboubakar Ouatarra has been re-assigned as an advisor to the Club’s Board.
This decision comes on the back of the appointment of Masud Didi Dramani as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.
The clarification of Ouatarra’s role puts to bed speculations that he was set to take up the role as the club’s Technical Director after serving as head coach for a year and a half.
“As a special advisor Ouattara will be working directly with the Board of Directors on special assignments and duties” a statement from the club disclosed.
He led the team to a fourth place finish in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.
Below is the full statement from the club confirming his reassignment.
