Former President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Katrina Adams, is set to visit Ghana to headline a series of tennis events.
The former tennis player will be joined in Ghana by fellow ex-tennis player Roger Smith to lead a clinic for tennis players in partnership with Africa10 Foundation (A10) between ages seven and 12 on Saturday, June 21 at the Accra Tennis Club from 15:00 GMT to 18:00 GMT.
Day Two of the tennis clinic will take place at the aforementioned venue on Sunday, June 22 for tennis players between ages 13 and 17 while engaging tennis coaches in Ghana.
Adams and Rogers will be involved in a stakeholders meeting under the motto, “Legacy: What’s Next for Ghana Tennis?” on June 21 at the Kempinski Hotel.
The visit of the high profile personalities are expected to give tennis a major boost in the Ghanaian sports fraternity as embodied in the theme for the tennis clinics, “Africa: Elevating Ghana Tennis ”.

61 year old Rogers, competed for Bahamas at the 1992 Olympic Games and got ranked a career best 96 in the ATP Rankings in 1988.

Katrina Adams won 20 Women’s Tennis Association Doubles titles and made it to the semifinal stage at Wimbledon in 1988.
