Vision Football Club head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has stated that his club will take its upcoming game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko seriously despite avoiding relegation from the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Nana Agyemang made these comments in a pre-game presser ahead of Vision’s 2024-2025 GPL season finale against Kotoko at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Sunday, June 8 at 15:00 GMT.
Kotoko head into the game needing a win to stand a chance of winning the GPL title while Vision FC’s stay in the top flight division was confirmed in the previous round after Accra Lions 2-0 loss to Dreams FC.
Despite being ranked 11th in the 18 team league standings, Nana Agyemang is adamant that his team will take the game against Kotoko seriously.
“There is no pressure on Vision at the moment. We are safe from relegation but of course every game, we need to take it serious.”

“It should be a mark that we should be able to leave so that we can set next season a tone and let people know what Vision is about and what we are about to do the upcoming season so we are taking the game very very serious” Nana Agyemang said.

Kotoko rank third in the league with 58 points behind Nations FC and Bibiani Gold Stars who have 60 points respectively.
