Thomas Partey Tournament is key to Ghana’s football ecosystem- Ernest Koranteng [VIDEO]

Dr. Ernest Koranteng, founder of sports firm, BAC Sports, has endorsed the Thomas Partey Foundation Football Tournament by tagging such initiatives as key to Ghana’s football ecosystem.

He said this on the sidelines of the aforementioned tournament’s final day of competition that was played out at the Tuba AstroTurf and had12 teams compete across three days.

Koowa Na So FC won the tournament after bagging a 3-1 win over Dansoman Wise who won the competition last year and having witnessed the competition, the former veteran sports journalist had a positive outlook on the event and such events by stating,

“It allows for many talents to be seen, to be granted the opportunity to live their dream of playing football to the highest level. This-tournament- is very important.”

“It is significant to this idea of building football to the sort of level we want to see; a very key part of the football ecosystem, the football value chain.”

Partey is set to compete in BAC Sports All Star Festival Game on Wednesday, June 18 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
