Vision Football Club head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang says his team focused more on psychological preparation than tactical preparation in the lead up to their game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko that led to a big win for the league debutants.
Vision beat Kotoko 3-1 to end its debut run in the Ghana Premier League on a high note in 11th place and got revenge for its loss to Kotoko in the first round.
Speaking in the post-game presser, Nana Agyemang stated that more focus was placed on preparing his boys mentally than tactically.
“In the first round, we got beaten because my boys were a bit afraid, they sat back, they were afraid to leave the spaces for Kotoko to attack so we just did more psychological work than we did technical and tactical. They are pretty much very good players; all they needed was that belief that they could beat Kotoko” Nana Agyemang said.

The loss effectively ruled Kotoko out of contention to win the Ghana Premier League; Bibiani Gold Stars beat Accra Lions 4-0 to win the title on the final day of competition.
