Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman has officially joined French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre on loan from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.
The deal is a purported one year contract with an option to sign for 16 million Euros; this is Osman’s second loan deal in as many years from Brighton.
The speedy winger played out the 2024-2025 season at Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord and registered four goals and three assists in 32 games in all competitions.
Auxerre returned to the elite division in France last season and finished 11th with 11 wins, nine draws and 14 losses in 34 games.
By joining Auxerre, Osman teams up with fellow Black Stars players Gideon Mensah and Elisha Owusu with the trio playing varying roles in Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Ghana leads Group I and is in a strong position to qualify to the World Cup for the fifth time. Ghana holds a three point lead over second ranked Comoros.
20 year old Osman rose through the Right To Dream Academy before moving to Danish side FC Norsdjaelland. Scroll down to watch video of Osman’s signing
