President of Football Operations at AFC Bournemouth, Tiago Pinto, has praised Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo for his commitment to the English Premier League club.

His praise for the former Bristol City player comes on the back of Semenyo signing a long term deal to stay at the club.

Semenyo’s new contract keeps him at the Cherries for five more years and the Black Stars player said he was delighted to stick with the club. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

The 25 year old scored 11 goals and added seven assists in 42 games in all competitions as Bournemouth recorded the club’s best ever finish in the league (ninth) and attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United and Pinto was impressed with Semenyo’s decision stating,

“Antoine [Semenyo] has been crucial to the club’s progress and is a key member of the project here at Vitality Stadium. We have a great relationship with Antoine and we’re looking forward to continuing that as we hope to build on a record-breaking season.”
