July 1, 2025 marks the start of a 10 day period where any club in the English Premier League can trigger Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ 85 million pound release clause.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro-League can trigger Kudus’ release clause for an amount above 100 million pounds during this period.

However, reports indicate that the West Ham United midfielder isn’t interested in a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage in his career.

According to Italian football insider Fabrizio Romano, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs have commenced talks with Kudus’ camp over a possible deal.

In a statement on his X (formerly Twitter) page, Romano stated that talks between the parties have a “positive approach” so far.

According to British media outlet, Sky Sports, Chelsea are also interested in signing Kudus despite signing creative players Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens in this transfer window.

24 year old Kudus is one of the highly rated creative forces in football having completed the most dribbles (216) than any player in the Premier League over the past two seasons.
