Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has signed for Italian Serie A side Atalanta after completing his transfer from English Premier League side Southampton.
The 23 year old joins Atalanta after spending a year and a half competing in the Premier League for The Saints and a full season in the EFL Championship.
Techiman born Sulemana played for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland and French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes before joining Southampton.
His time in England was largely blighted with injuries including the 2024-2025 season where he scored two goals and added three assists in 30 games in all competitions as Southampton got relegated.
By signing for Atalanta on a reported four year deal for 18.5 million pounds, Sulemana teams up with head coach Ivan Juric who served as Southampton before resigning close to the end of the immediate past campaign.

Juric isn’t the only familiar face at Atalanta as Kamaldeen gets to team up with fellow Black Stars player Ibrahim Sulemana.
